The gemstone reminds me of a desert with a lake to sustain it! The pop of blue is so striking and really makes the ring come to life.
To allow the stone to be the center of attention, it just has a small border which has been darkened with a patina and sealed with a wax polish.
Set atop a thick 2mm round wire band, this is a thicker ring for a snug fit.
The stone itself measures 18mm long, 14mm wide and 6mm high and weighs in at over 12g
